April 30th 2006.

I am officially baptised! Mummy, Daddy and I stayed over and Grandma & Granddads the night before, but Daddy spent most of the night cooking to get ready for my baptism's after party. He was very busy. My Auntie Chris is a minister and she's the one who baptised me. I'm glad it was her, otherwise I might have been a bit scared. Heaps of my friends came to share in my special day. I guess I'm a very loved little baby!

This is me, mummy & daddy. Daddy's holding my baptism gift from the church, which is a fun kids bible story book with lots of bright pictures. I'm wearing my beautiful baptism dress and you can just make out my little gold shoes. The shoes are on loan from Auntie Kylie. My cousin Jorja wore them at her baptism, so they're very special

This is my baptism cake. My Grandma made it special just for me. It's actually made from the top teir of Mummy & Daddy's wedding cake, which Grandma also made! My Grandma is very clever.

This is my Great-Auntie Chris when she was baptising me. I can't remember what she laughing at in this photo, but it must have been funny as Mummy is laughing too. Big people make the funniest sounds when they laugh. When Daddy laughs, he makes me jump!

This is another photo of me getting baptised. My Great-Auntie Chris is reading me a story, but it doesn't have any pictures. Plus she only read me a few paragraphs of the book. I bet she thinks I didn't notice, but I did!
These are my GodParents. The bloke on the left is my Great-Uncle Steve, and the chick on the right is my Daddy's best friend, Michelle. They were part of the bridal party at Mummy & Daddy's wedding too.
This is me towards the end of my baptism after-party. I was very tired after all the excitement! I fell asleep on Grandma's bed and just slept and slept and slept! It was such a good day.

Lots of love, Angelique Louise May Smith.
